On Blogging (part two)

I reviewed my year(s) past, with some good stuff and some bad stuff, which is life.  I am thankful for opportunities and successes but also that which makes me value those!  Hoping I can keep blogging in a real, authentic way that is meaningful both to myself and readers.  Not sure how it will he received, or if I will remain committed beyond upcoming projects, but will give it a fair shake.

Finding time for hobbies and passions is not always an easy thing in today’s world, but I somehow
manage to make my own fun.  I find myself reflecting on things and have a lot of gratitude shining over my troubles.  Perhaps it is the filters we choose - the tint of the rose-colored glasses or the downward spiral of despair.  I think we all walk that line when it comes to recognition of the positive and negative aspects of life.  I suppose in the end it is all about finding balance and also being able to see and appreciate why we can understand that dichotomy.  Juxtaposing the lowest of lows with the highest of highs helps us to filter through the mundane “status quo” and truly see the meaning of bittersweet-ness.

Happily and sadly, we can see it in surprising places, in the humdrum tasks of the day, in simplicity as we inch along...

My heart is full.  I am thankful as I observe.  I feel through my memories in photos and words.
This carries through the holidays and I look towards a bright new year.
