Charcoal - Genetics

A Sharkhole Running Stallion is real!

Black Heterozygous silver is the silver gene acting over black, creating a lovely dark horse (brown to smoke to black) with a silver or white mane and/or tail.  Not common, but can happen in a variety of breeds.  I have shown several Glossy Charcoal models that utilize this color pattern.

Internet Photos:

Different Breed Types!
Examples: Comtois, Mustang,
Gypsy Vanner types...have even seen Akhal Tekes

Very handsome color!
