Tiny Treasure!

I adore thrifting and antiquing.  The thrill of the hunt and the unexpected surprises make it especially exciting.  Sometimes finds are practical, useful, or needed.  Other times they are just plain FUN!

A recent find was a tiny nested doll set of handpainted doggies!

This is just a quick photo, and they weren’t cooperating on corduroy (another find).
Dachshund, a little terrier or houndy type, a spotty Dalmatian representation, white poodle, and tiny Scottie.  They are unmarked but quite adorable!

(Here’s an updated photo of the Mayryoshka set...rather appropriate as “mother/babushka” is the weekend theme!  Happy Mother’s Day.  Although these are Russian in origin, many countries have adapted the style and the contemporary sets abound.
